Mad Devils is a twin-stick shooter produced and published by Itzy Interactive studio. The title was released on PC and PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series consoles.
The action takes place during World War II, but the game treats history with a pinch of salt. Asher's Mad Devils are a special unit commanded by Jack Asher, sent on a mission to stop a certain Major Strauss, who is experimenting with the occult to turn the tide of the war. The operation encounters difficulties. The Nazis open the gates of hell and Asher dies. However, he wakes up in the afterlife with a burning skull instead of a head, which does not prevent him from continuing his task.
Mad Devils is a shooting game in which we observe events from a bird's eye view. Iza Interactive's production at first glance brings to mind twin-stick shooters, although it is not; We do not control our character here using two controller knobs. The gameplay is simple: the idea is to push forward and eliminate all annoying enemies. The game implements a cover system that allows you to hide from fire behind certain elements of the environment.
In addition to firearms, we can also use spells that we attach to the D-pad. The creators also implemented a simple development system enabling the development of the player's parameters.
As we progress, we can unlock access to new playable characters, i.e. members of the Mad Devils unit, who have slightly different skills. Co-op multiplayer for two people is also available.
