The game takes place in the distant future, aboard the titular high-security space prison, managed by AI, where the greatest degenerates in the galaxy are sent.
The player takes on the role of one of the newly imprisoned prisoners in this facility. His priority becomes survival and finding a way to escape this place.
Space Prison is an RPG game with survival elements. While playing, we explore the world, complete tasks, develop our character and, above all, fight numerous battles that take place in a turn-based system.
When starting the game, we first choose our character. The game offers many playable convicts, each with different skills, weapons and equipment, all of which can be upgraded. During the game, developing relationships with other characters and gangs plays a key role, which allows us to slowly climb the prison social ladder.
It is also crucial to collect resources and use them in the crafting system, which allows, among other things, to create new items and improve our cell.
The production only has a single-player mode.
Space Prison offers eye-pleasing two-dimensional graphics made in a strongly comic book style.
