This version has HARD-CAPTIONED English; that is, English subtitles are burned into the video. It is also edited to remove/softened all subtitled profanity; in the violent scenes I have blurred the most-bloody parts.
Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parasite_(2019_film) "Parasite is a 2019 South Korean black comedy thriller film directed by Bong Joon-ho. It...follows the members of a poor family who scheme to become employed by a wealthy family by infiltrating their household and posing as unrelated, highly qualified individuals."
I started with the best subtitles I could find, then performed the following:
- Edited the subtitled profanity to remove translated English curse words
- Converted various units & words to U.S. equivalents
- Watched the movie and made detailed notes
- Corrected many typos, added italics for voiceover or radio speech
- Processed the movie using Handbrake to burn the subtitles into the video
- Used Sony Vegas to remove two short sections (referring to sex in a car, and a sex scene); and to Gaussian-blur the most bloody scenes
