In the 1980s, Balthazar Bratt was very successful through his TV series, where he played a villain called EvilBratt. However, time passed, he grew, the voice changed and fame was gone. With the series canceled, Balthazar became a vengeful person who, in the following decades, planned his triumphant return as revenge. Gru and Lucy are called to face him soon on their reappearance, but they get fired for failing to capture him. Gru then discovers that he has a twin brother, Dru, and leaves with the family to meet him in the country where he lives.
