Based on J.K. Rowling's eponymous book. The eccentric magician Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) arrives in New York City with his briefcase, a magical object where he carries a collection of fantastic animals from the world of magic he collected during his travels. In the midst of the American witch community that is much more afraid of Muggle exposure than the British, Newt will need to use his skills and knowledge to capture a variety of creatures that come out of his suitcase.
