John Nash (Russell Crowe) is a math genius who at 21, has formulated a theorem that proved his genius and became acclaimed in the middle where he worked. But gradually the handsome and arrogant Nash turns into a suffering and tormented man that he even be diagnosed as schizophrenic by the doctors who treat. However, after years of struggle to recover, he can return to society and ends up being awarded the Nobel.
