Jess (Drew Barrymore) and Milly (Toni Collette) are best friends since childhood. While Milly married, had two children and built a successful career, Jess decided to lead a quiet life beside her husband Jago (Paddy Considine). After undergoing treatment, Jess finally able to get pregnant. But the news comes just as Milly discovers get breast cancer and must undergo chemotherapy, which will require the support not only the friend, but the whole family.
