The eccentric magician Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) arrives in New York City with great zeal for his precious briefcase, a magical object where he carries fantastic animals from the world of magic he collected during his travels. Amid the American witch community, which fears much more exposure to Muggles than its English counterparts, Newt will need to use all his skills and knowledge to capture a variety of creatures that eventually escape.
