1822 - Hugh Glass (Leonardo DiCaprio) leaves for the American West willing to earn money hunting. Attacked by a bear, he gets seriously injured and is left to his own devices by partner John Fitzgerald (Tom Hardy), who still steals his belongings. However, even with all adversity, Glass manages to survive and begins an arduous journey in search of revenge.
