The Legion of Super-Heroes v3 launched in August 1984. The existing Legion of Super-Heroes v2 #259-313 (1980-1984) was renamed Tales of the Legion of SUper-Heroes with issue #314. New material continued to run for a year. Beginning with issue #326, it began reprinting stories from Legion of Super-Heroes v3 until its final issue, #354 (December 1987).

This is a reprint of the Legion of Super-Heroes v3 #1 (1984).
