Around the BBC collects all of the known radio session recordings that Grapefruit made for the BBC in 1968 and 1969 Most of the 1968 studio recordings that were issued by RCA and Stateside Records can be found on Grapefruit's "Around Grapefruit" LP that was issued in early 1969. But due to some unsympathetic remixing and overdubbing by producer Terry Melcher during the compilation of the album, the versions found on "Around Grapefruit" were not representative of the group's true sound.
