Album Title: Body Artist: Horskh Genres: EBM, Electro-Industrial
With a slight conviction, it can be argued that the new full-length album by the French HORSKH called "Body" is the first real bomb in the new calendar year.
In principle, the hit potential of the longplay was quite easy to read from the promo campaign and individual singles. The release simply consolidated this confidence and confirmed it with evidence - modern electro-industrial is alive, and Europe remains the main axis of its rotation.
The turbulent, highly inertial and hyper-dynamic chemistry of sound is achieved due to familiar elements of genre presentation, namely technical electronic industrial and powerful industrial rock washes, with almost no lingering or lyrical losses. Only functional sharpness and constant attack of chords in time with percussion.
HORSKH still resemble the German backbone of FORMALIN, but personally it seems to me that the French have gone a little into their individual creative jurisdiction. And in some ways they even look fresher and more unconventional than their proteges. Partly, perhaps, because of its craving for some punk or hardcore, which runs through the entire musical spectrum of the album in a subtle motif
