Encoder Note: Total encoding time was 2d 13h 30m on an i9-12900k. SVT-AV1 v1.6 with Mode 3 was used, which prioritizes video quality over encoding speed. The size of the video stream was reduced from 45.3GB HEVC to 18.7GB AV1. The bitrate of the video stream is 17.9Mbps, which is virtually Bluray quality. 94% of the file size is the video quality. Just over 3% is the English AC3 audio, 1% Spanish OPUS audio and 1% French OPUS audio. Conservative black bar cropping was used, so it doesn't cut into the picture. Some scenes have black bars (like the Bluray) but they are reduced.
Distribution note: This movie will be distributed with a 32MB piece size to make it easier to seed. It's required to use a compatible torrent client. qBittorrent, Deluge, Transmission etc. are recommended. The torrent will distribute faster by breaking compatibility with uTorrent. These clients can't easily give back the bandwidth they take. The 32MB piece size is also more seed box friendly for higher throughput. It's beneficial due to the large file size.
