Mozilla Firefox allows users to browse and conduct personal and business activities on the Internet securely and maintain user's privacy during these sessions.
BEFORE you install this release
IMPORTANT: This release is resigned with my own signature (Icepax Knight). If you plan to install this release, you'll need to first uninstall the existing Mozilla Firefox's installation on your Android device.
Advantage of this release
- Once you've installed this release, you will never be prompted again to update Mozilla Firefox via your favourite Android store [like Google Play, Samsung Store, Amazon store, etc].
Disadvantage of this release
- You will NOT be able to update your Mozilla Firefox via your favourite Android store since the signature will be different- my signature versus the signature of the Mozilla Foundation (the developer of Mozilla Firefox on Windows, Android, Mac, etc).
Prerequisite requirement:
- An Android mobile device.
- Android 4.1 (API Level 16) and later Android versions.
Changelog
v68.11.0:
- Revert all the rubbish changes found in the latest version of Mozilla Firefox for Android. For example, allow add-ons to work again!
Steps to install the APK:
- Android 4 to 7: Go to "Settings | Applications" and tick "Unknown Sources".
Android 8 onwards: Tap "Settings" button when prompted, then follow further instructions to sideload any Android application.

Copy the APK onto phone's internal SD card using a Wifi program or directly via the phone's USB connection.

Use a file manager like (Root Explorer, etc) to browse to location of saved APK.

Tap on APK to install.
Note: Once you've installed the Mozilla Firefox Android application, you can proceed to install any add-ons you wish via the application.
