It seems rather shortsighted to have such short title spaces here - the shortest anywhere - which means torrents are invariably not adequately informative in respect to title - doesn't make sense to me - for instance couldnt include "DTS" or "ENG-ITA" (no space) I'm a former database programmer too, I might add - have a nice day and ciao

Here is a comment on the net by one person who has apparently had experience with both versions of the movie (The itunes version is the 3hr 49min whereas the restoration version we gave you a couple of years back (ENG-ITA) is 4hrs 12mins
Here's the viewers comment I found on the net - he is speaking generally: "I highly advise you to watch this 3 hour 49 minute version, as it is by far the most complete and cohesive release that is available. The Extended Director’s Cut uses restored film, not all of which was properly cared for in the 30+ years since the film’s release, so there are noticeable quality drops when some restored scenes begin" I personally thought the restored version was okay - so I'm ignoring the comment here, for when one would like to see the entire length of the movie you could possibly get to enjoy too, as he is only referring to the extended scenes as being not quite as good as the rest of the movie. If you can hardly notice perhaps, why give up on a good flick equally I ask if it happens to be the choice offered along the way too!
moviesbyrizzo REVIEW:
This movie stars the great Mr. Robert De Niro - the greatest of men in my own estimation based on the most valid criterea ultimately I believe. There's also an appearance or two by the lovely and gorgeous looking Ms. Tuesday Weld, being cast as a somewhat naughty girl (with masochistic tendencies even perhaps - as scripted) - however not the best of ideas I say. Rather offensive in fact speaking as a gentleman on these matters.
It is my belief that given adequate resource allocation fairness and a reasonable responding pattern to what is the human greatness of the men of Italy such as De Niro (he's Irish too) the problems of so called "crime" (illegal prostitution rings, gambling joints, and so forth) would not be problems at all but would be legalized and regulated for purposes of fair taxation in the interests of the community.
These are great men that are made as De Niro at the core, and must be given the reins over the whole economy ultimately in my own view once again with due respect.
enjoy the show - although it opens with an ugly scene of a spirited woman being shot by a group of gangsters invading her home - no way to show apparently "Italian looking" men or Irish women in movies anymore I must say and emphatically so. We are better than this, speaking as fully a man of Italy in spirit and Irish compatriot too with regards to our womenfolk that is. She happens to be a dear-most gal fer crissakes man! Who's scripting this shit - misogyny having been in fashion in such circles all too long now I say finally eh.
