It’s Wrestling Observer Radio with Dave Meltzer and Jim Valley.  We remember WWE and Wrestling Observer Hall of Fame ring announcer Howard Finkel, who passed away on Thursday at 69. Dave has fond memories of Howard Finkel announcing in Madison Square Garden, particularly from the mid 70s to the early 80s.  Everytime WWE would tour northern California, Dave and Howard would always speak. Finkel was one of the first subscribers to The Observer newsletter. It was his job to read the newsletter and deliver an abbreviated version to WWE management.  From there, it's the second interview with Dr. Alex Patel, a critical care doctor from the Toronto area. We talk about the latest on COVID-19 and its effect on MMA, pro wrestling and the sports world in general. FYI: Dr. Patel had to share space with his family during the interview and some of the background noise caused interference.
