I have had the opportunity to check out the new UHD release of Beauty and the Beast and honestly I am pretty disappointed with how it is so much darker than the blu-ray release. The whole film seems very underexposed on the UHD release so I have decided to share what is undoubtedly my prefered version for watching this film, a Russian Open Matte stream regraded to remove the blanket yellow tint across the whole film. It shares the brighter better exposed image of the official blu-ray but the image is also opened up on the top and bottom so the image fits the whole hdtv screen, making for a much more immersive experience.
