In 2009 the world went into shock and admiration because of an unexpected and impossible fact: on January 15 of that year, Captain Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger (Tom Hanks) was able to land a plane crashing into the Hudson River. This almost impossible act saved the lives of the 150 passengers and raised Sully to the rank of national hero. However, not even public acclaim was able to prevent a rigorous investigation into his reputation and career.
