The eccentric magician Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) arrives in New York City with his briefcase, a magical object where he carries a collection of fantastic animals from the world of magic he collected during his travels. Amidst the North American witch community that fears Muggle exposure much more than the English, Newt will need to use his skills and knowledge to capture a variety of creatures that end up coming out of his suitcase.
