John Brennan (Russell Crowe) is a college professor who leads a perfect life until his wife Lara (Elizabeth Banks) is accused of committing a brutal crime. She swears she's not the perpetrator. After three years of unsuccessful legal recourse, John realizes that the only way to get his wife back will be to remove her from prison. He has only 72 hours to draw up the plan and execute it.
