於1980年由日本物產推出的街機版《瘋狂爬樓》是一款操作和遊戲規則都十分簡單，可又樂趣十足的動作遊戲，玩家只要控制爬樓者左右移動，最後爬到摩天大樓的頂層即可獲勝。

這次由日本system推出的Wii版《瘋狂爬樓Wii》延續了該系列簡單有趣的設定，遊戲的玩法與街機作品完全相同，不過由於對應Wii的體感操作，而且也將加入攀爬懸崖和對戰模式，遊戲樂趣定將大幅提升。
