In the East,the conflict between Germany and the Soviet Union goes on.Thanks to material support from their former foes,the German wehrmacht has managed to stop the Red Army in the suburbs of Berlin.Neither of the two powers seem able to claim victory over the other - much to the delight of the governments in London and Paris.
