While the Roman occupation tortures Palestine, the man they now call the Prince of Princes, the Messiah, leaves for the East. He follows the mystical call of the Third Testament, the key to the Kingdom of God promising an end to all suffering. At his side, the former general Julius has a completely different vision: he wants to make of this "Messiah" a warlord capable of freeing his country. So he joins the small group which leaves for the East, determined to bring his friend to reason... and to his daughter's side. While mysterious shadows stretch over the walls of Babylon, Julius remains ignorant of how far the quest for the Third Testament will take him...
